Welcome to the 8th Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials – BCCM8!

We are pleased to welcome you to the 8th edition of the Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials (BCCM8), a key event dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field of composite materials.

Since its inception in 2012, BCCM has served as a vibrant platform for fostering collaboration between academia and industry. The conference brings together students, professors, researchers, and professionals from Brazil and around the world to share recent developments, explore emerging trends, and address the ongoing challenges in the design, processing, characterization, and application of composite materials.

BCCM8 features a broad and interdisciplinary scope, encompassing cutting-edge research and technological innovation. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, Analysis, and Failure of Composite Structures
  • Natural and Sustainable Composites
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Processing of Composites
  • Numerical Modeling and Simulation of Composite Materials
  • Smart, Adaptive, and Multifunctional Composites
  • Engineering Applications of Composites (Aerospace, Automotive, Civil, Marine, etc.)
  • Testing Methods, Non-Destructive Evaluation, and Structural Health Monitoring
  • Nanocomposites: Materials, Fabrication, Modeling, and Applications
  • Imperfect Interfaces in Composite Materials (interfacial mechanics, imperfect bonding, interface damage and debonding, interphase behavior, multiscale and multiphysics effects). Symposium organized by the REGII - REsearch Group on multiphysics Imperfect Interfaces.

The event offers a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, and be inspired by leading experts and emerging talents in the field. Through keynote lectures, technical sessions, poster presentations, and industry exhibitions, BCCM8 aims to foster a dynamic environment for the exchange of ideas and the advancement of composite technologies.

We look forward to your participation and contributions to make BCCM8 an unforgettable and impactful experience.

Welcome to BCCM8 - where science, technology, and innovation in composites meet!
